Subsilva is an apparel brand built around the natural world. Each design begins as a specimen which is stripped back and rendered in the tradition of museum illustration. The result is a garment that functions as a quiet record of the species it depicts.
We work with organic and garment-dyed blanks, muted palettes, and restrained layouts. Nothing is decorative for its own sake.
